The Fault in our Stars is one of the best books I've read. Thanks to John Green, I had a colossal meltdown while reading his brilliantly written novel. TFIOS is about two cancer patients who fall in love, and we, as viewers, can witness their relationship over time. Hazel Green suffers from lung cancer, while Augustus Waters is cancer free after getting his leg amputated. If you're ready to start crying really hard, this is a must read book and a must read movie!
The movie is appropriate for kids ages 13+. If younger, I suggest parental guidance or just wait until the DVD comes out. On the other hand, the book can be read by mature 12 year olds.
