My Review on Neptune's Son

As some of you might know, the new book, The Son of Neptune was published a few weeks ago. Since the last week, I had my head stuck in that book and I finally finished reading it yesterday! The Son of Neptune is the second book for the Rick Riordan's new series, The Heroes of Olympus. This series is a sequel to the Percy Jackson series. The first book in  The Heroes of Olympus series is "The Lost Hero". If you want to read any of the Heroes of Olympus books, I suggest you read the first book in the Percy Jackson series, "The Lightening Thief".

The Son of Neptune is about a teenage boy named Percy Jackson who gets continuously chased by hideous monsters, including Medusa's sisters, Gaea (Mother Earth), cyclops, and more giants. Neptune is a Roman name for the Greek sea god, Poseidon. In this book, Percy's memory was taken by Hera, who is also known as Juno.

Percy makes his way to a Roman demi-god camp called Camp Jupiter. He meets Frank and Hazel, who hide their own desperate secrets from others. Frank's life depends on a burnt stick. Frank has only one parent alive and he doesn't know who it is. He was hoping for Apollo, but sadly, the war god, Mars shows up and claims him as his own son. Hazel, a southern girl, should be dead. She was brought from the underworld by her half-brother, Nico.

The three of them; Percy, Frank, and Hazel team up together to find Percy's other family and release Death, who is in chains. Death is also know as Thanatos. Together, they embark on a journey revealing secrets, bumping into enemies and friends.

I hope you read this, and enjoy it as much as I did!!!
